The National Irrigation Administration (NIA)-Ilocos is preparing for the coming El Niño. ManilaBulletin
NIA-Ilocos Manager Engr. Gaudencio de Vera said they have come up with several measures to address the possible effects of the weather phenomenon on water supply for farmers in the region.
De Vera said they are set to distribute 500 water pumps as contingency in areas seen to be severely affected by the El Niño.
