Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios, seen here after a practice session last Wednesday, has pulled out of Wimbledon after tearing a ligament in his wrist.“During my comeback, I experienced some pain in my wrist during the week of [the Mallorca Open]. As a precaution I had it scanned, and it came back showing a torn ligament in my wrist,” he said on Instagram.
Kyrgios has played only one competitive match in the past seven months due to the injury, which caused him to miss both the Australian Open and French Open.
