For the past two seasons, Nicola Coughlan has been the secret leading star of Netflix’s smash Regency-era series Bridgerton. While season one centered on the romantic entanglement between Daphne and Simon , and season two pivoted to the slow burn of Anthony and Kate , Coughlan’s character, Penelope Featherington, has been pulling the strings behind the scenes all along.

The silk taffeta design was composed of a rich ivory color, and it featured all kinds of intricate elements that resulted in a dynamic silhouette. Up top, there was a sweetheart bodice layered underneath another panel of fabric, which flowed up the front of the gown and diverged along Coughlan’s arms to create swirling off-the-shoulder sleeves.
