The Big Picture Vivarium director Lorcan Finnegan returned to the Cannes Film Festival 2024 to premiere his film The Surfer, a thriller led by an explosive Nicolas Cage that left the audience buzzing. The movie invites its viewers onto the fictional Luna Beach in Southern Australia, where the waters are warm, but the welcome wagon isn't.
