Weston, 33, faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon after it was alleged he attacked his mother in April; Fulton and Weston pictured in 2019The scuffle between Weston and Fulton occurred on April 28 in the Los Angeles area, when a verbal dispute reportedly turned physical. Fulton added in her statement: 'As a mother, I am deeply saddened and concerned about Weston’s ongoing mental-health crisis.The LAPD confirmed that Weston was booked on Wednesday for assault with a deadly weapon - just weeks after his mother was spotted with intense bruises on her face.
Weston's case was submitted to the district attorney's office on May 10 and on June 26 the DA filed two counts of assault with a deadly weapon against him. An arrest warrant was later issued. An ambulance was reportedly called to the home to check out Fulton, but she declined to be taken to the hospital, TMZ reported at the time of the alleged incident.
The Snake Eyes actress was seen putting coins into a parking meter with a black eye and fading bruises on her face back in April.The actress released a statement on the interaction with her son back in May, and said: 'Weston and I had no argument prior to the incident. 'I have always supported helping my son with mental-health struggles. I am doing all I can to get him the continued support he needs,' Fulton added.
'I am the one that raised Weston. I am the one that took care of Weston. His dad was very busy out working as an actor,' she said.
