Former Man United target Victor Osimhen came off the bench and scored for Napoli just days after being embroiled in an alleged racism row
Nigeria manager Jose Peseiro believes Victor Osimhen has what it takes to lead the line for Manchester United.
Rumours have since intensified linking Osimhen - who helped Napoli to a historic Serie A title last season - with a move away. But Osimhen's national team boss has backed the forward to do a job for United, should they come calling next year. Speaking to Spanish outlet AS, Osimhen’s national team coach, Peseiro, listed the La Liga giants alongside United when asked whether the striker could play for Europe’s elite. “We all know him. He was the one who put Napoli where it is. It was he who did everything to not sell Osimhen, or sell him at the price he wants. The certainty I have is that Osimhen's end will be one of the best teams in Europe.”
