Nine members of a local Labour party have quit their posts after claiming they had been gagged on the situation in Gaza.
We reported yesterday that Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar was unhappy with the language used by Starmer. “Immediately after publication of the meeting agenda, party officials wrote to all CLPs saying that 'any motions' about Gaza would be 'out of order and should not be debated at party Meetings'.”
