Irked Nir Bitton has doubled down on his anger with Celtic fans over their show of support for Palestine.
Palestinian group Hamas launched an attack on Israel which killed at least 40. And in retaliation, Gaza say at least 198 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air attacks. A section of the Celtic support have consistently shown their support to the Palestinian cause with the midfielder responding "shame on you" to the Green Brigade display while claiming the Parkhead fans had shown support for a "terror organisation.
"The thing is that we never experienced a day like today before. We can deal with rockets above us...unfortunately its part of our kids daily routine but for hundreds of terrorists to come into Israel and slaughter full families, kids, elderly people and stepping on them and kidnapping them and celebrating like monsters this is a red line that we must not accept regardless who you are and where you from.
Bitton continued with a post to his Instagram story: "I see a lot of you moaning why i never said anything during my 9 years. So let me be clear, during that time my country dealt with rockets and as i said we got used to it unfortunately. I'm a footballer not a politician, my job isn't to try and teach you history. Everyone has his own right to protest for whatever he believes in. Today i spoke because today is one of the worst days in the history of Israel.
