The North Luzon Expressway Corp. is pouring over P8 billion to expand its existing expressway network to improve traffic flow and connectivity.

“The project was already approved by the Toll Regulatory Board , and the only remaining outstanding there is to complete the right of way. Today, it’s about 78 percent in terms of ROW acquisition,” Bautista said. NLEX also submitted a proposal to the TRB for the NLEX Phase 3 Widening Project, which involves the construction of new expressway lanes from NLEX San Fernando to Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway Spurt in Pampanga.“Hopefully, we can get the TRB approval soon and start the project in the third quarter of this year,” Bautista said.
