Translink has cancelled all bus and train services across Northern Ireland on Friday morning, January 24th, due to a red weather warning for Storm Éowyn. The cancellation is in place until the red status is lifted, with a yellow wind warning in effect from midnight until 11.59pm Friday, an amber warning from 6am to 9pm, and a red warning from 7am to 2pm. Translink is prioritizing the safety of customers and employees and will assess any damage to routes before resuming services.
No bus or train services will run across Northern Ireland on Friday morning. Translink has announced due to the red weather warning in place for Storm Éowyn and the advice to avoid travel, no services will be operational while the red status is in place on January 24.

“There is likely to be fallen trees and extensive debris that will need to be cleared, and bus and train services may need to operate with speed restrictions or operate diversions for bus services if roads are impassable.
