The BInos have now lost their last four games on the spin across all competitions after defeat on Tuesday.
It was more second-half pain for Stirling Albion on Tuesday night as Bonnyrigg Rose inflicted a fourth straight defeat on the struggling Binos.
The goals from Lewis Lorimer and Cammy Ross now make it 11 conceded by the Binos in their last four matches - and Bonnyrigg squandered more opportunities to inflict further agony in a long second 45 for the visitors. The Albion boss told Binos media manager Matt Reid: “I was satisfied with our performance in that first 45 and we spoke at half-time about repeating it and showing a bit of grit and determination to stay in the game.
“I can’t fault the boys’ work rate and effort, the weather is changing and you have heavier pitches which make the games a little different and you have to fight and scrap it out and we probably haven’t done that well enough.”
