Services are suspended between Rochdale town centre and Oldham Mumps after a 'landslip' moved the Metrolink track
Metrolink trams between two major Greater Manchester stops will not run 'until further notice' because of 'land movement' affecting a stretch of track.
"A closure will be in place to allow for engineers to carry out further investigations," said TfGM. "Track and other equipment has been affected by land movement, and detailed investigations are ongoing to identify the cause. Specialist teams are also being brought in to help fix it." Services will operate between East Didsbury and Oldham Mumps. Alongside Rochdale town centre, it means seven other stops will not have any trams running through them - Derker; Shaw and Crompton, Newhey; Milnrow; Kingsway Business Park, Newbold and Rochdale Railway Station.
