The plans are “pretty serious” - with officials even starting to look at property in the area, a source toldPlans to move the second chamber to York were revealed in January and senior figures have said it is still “very much on the agenda”.The source added: “It’s not just the House of Lords. Senior civil servants who are close to decision-making are already looking at Rightmove to see what they can buy for the cost of a terraced house in East Dulwich. And they like it.
