☕ Coffee stealing bandit apprehended on Lincoln High Street
In the early hours of Sunday 14th of May at Costa Lincoln High Street, a caffeine-craving culprit smashed his way through the door, entered the store and stole items from within. Response officers attended and secured CCTV evidence of the Coffee stealing bandit.
Neighbourhood officers identified the male, and our Sniper like CCTV colleagues spotted the suspect on the High Street on the 16th of May; he was detained by City Centre officers outside the Ritz before he could make an espresso escape! PC Scales from the Response Investigation Team then picked up the investigation, working tirelessly to deal with the male who stated, "I wanted a coffee, I left £3.50 on the counter"......
Charlie Wells, 32, of Rookery Lane, Lincoln, was found guilty of Burglary yesterday at Lincoln Magistrates Court. He has been given a suspended prison sentence and is required to pay compensation.
