No camping chairs and definitely no potato peelers if you're heading to that huge Noel Gallagher gig this weekend
Noel Gallagher makes his hugely anticipated homecoming to Manchester this weekend, with the first ever live gig inside Wythenshawe Park. Some 25,000 fans will be flocking to the vast Greater Manchester park to see the former Oasis icon in action with his High Flying Birds on Saturday night.
If you're heading along to the gig, be aware that it's going to be a busy one - and you will need to pass through security checks to get inside so the advice is to get there as early as you can. To ease the process, gig organisers have published a full list of banned items that you will NOT be allowed to take into the concert. If you do turn up with any of the banned items, you will be asked to leave these at the gates to gain entrance.
It led to potato peelers being banned from previous performances to stop jokers from trying to peel potatoes during gigs. That included at Liam's 2018 appearance at Parklife at Heaton Park.
