NORA Quoirin’s family have called for an end to “distressing” comments about the death of their 15-year-old daughter in Malaysia.

The teen, who had learning difficulties, was found dead 1.6 miles from a holiday resort where her family had been staying. "The Lucie Blackman Trust is arranging repatriation of Nora's body and no further information concerning this, including dates or destinations, will be released at this point."Meabh Quoirin had made a heartbreaking appeal for her daughter's safe return - devastated when the teen's body was foundCredit: Lucie Blackman Trust/Family handoutMalaysian Police said there was no suspicion the 15-year-old, who was discovered following a 10-day search, was the victim of foul play.

"But our beautiful innocent girl died in extremely complex circumstances and we are hoping that soon we will have more answers to our many questions." The family said they will be bringing Nora's body home "where she will finally be laid to rest, close to her loving families in France and Ireland"."Tragically, as we know, this wasn't enough to save Nora," they said.Speaking after her body was found, Mr and Mrs Quoirin, said their "hearts are broken" and paid tribute to their daughter as "the truest, most precious girl".

A reward of £10,000 - donated by an anonymous Belfast business - is made available for information leading to Nora's safe return.An initial post-mortem examination inconclusivePost-mortem finds that Nora died of intestinal bleeding after a stomach ulcer burst, probably caused by hunger and stress.
