Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes praised flock cameras for help in locating the stolen vehicle.

The suspect fired shots at officers from the passenger seat before the driver crashed at 820 and the bridge at 377, officials said.The Tarrant County District Attorney's Office said 25-year-old Eliseo Suarez Jr. was sentenced for aggravated assault against a public servant. Suarez Jr. used a shotgun to fire multiple shots out of a window at police cars during a chase, the DA's office said.

During a news conference that day, Noakes said Suarez Jr. was someone the department had been searching for. Noakes also added the cameras are placed in certain high traffic areas throughout the city and will notify police if it detects a license plate related to a wanted suspect or a stolen vehicle.
