The Scarborough Festival’s 43rd season ran on weekends from April 6 to May 27. Hosted in a re-created 16th-century English village, the fair features jousts, bird exhibitions and hundreds of artisan shops. “They just operate very differently than we do, and we’ve worked very hard to build a reputation as a family friendly event,” she said. “We wanted to make sure people understood that there was a big differentiation between the two.”. José Sánchez Córdova is from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, and is a senior at the University of Notre Dame. He is studying French and political science with a minor in journalism.
