The results from the infamous poll are finally out
Northampton has been named the 50th worst place to live in England in 2023. The website ilivehere.co.uk opened a poll and invited its readers to look down their noses at towns and cities across the country and the people who live in them.
Near neighbours Milton Keynes, in Buckinghamshire, places 35th on the list and Coventry, in the West Midlands, ranks in 17th. On the Northampton entry, some readers appeared to blame the town's development over the past few decades for their dislike of the place.
