The District Attorney's Office did not reveal what led to the shooting, and did not release the name of the officer.
A Northampton Township police officer shot and killed a 40-year-old man on Elm Avenue in Churchville on Nov. 5, 2023. The Bucks County District Attorney's Office is investigating.
Medics transported Chambers to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, where he was later pronounced dead. An autopsy ruled that his cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, and that the manner of his death was homicide.
