He has now been sentenced at court
A Northamptonshire hunt member shot a sheep dead before feeding it to the hounds. On March 13 last year, Hartley Crouch was working as the Whipper-In for the Pytchley Hunt.
As a result, Crouch was immediately fired and the incident was reported to Northamptonshire Police. He was charged with theft and was found guilty of the offence at Northampton Magistrates’ Court last week.Crouch was sentenced on the same day to a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £775 in costs, £150 in compensation and a surcharge of £22.
