Northbound Interstate 25 is closed in Castle Pines after a single-vehicle crash caused a car fire, according to Douglas County officials.
South Metro Fire Rescue crews responded to a crash involving a fully involved car fire at around 4:50 p.m., the agency said on X. Fire crews found the crash involved an electric vehicle and are evaluating people for injuries.Police will be investigating this accident. Currently one lane of northbound I-25 is getting g though on the left shoulder. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route if available.
