Forecast on May 10, 2024CLEVELAND, Ohio - The system that brought a widespread, cool rain to the region on Thursday is departing to the east. Left behind are some clouds that have formed mainly away from the lakeshore and the lingering possibility for isolated showers across southern and eastern parts of the region through this evening. However, most locations stay dry and cool with high temperatures in the low to mid 60s amid a northeast breeze around 10 mph.
Showers and storms return to the forecast on Saturday. There will be one round of rain in the morning, followed by a second round of scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. Due to unusually cold air in lower parts of the atmosphere, some storms may contain small hail. However, no severe weather is expected. High temperatures only top out around 60 degrees.
Mother’s Day on Sunday stays mostly dry outside of an isolated shower chance mainly across far eastern parts of the region. A mostly cloudy start to the day trends sunnier as the day goes on. High temperatures stay in the mid 60s. Monday’s temperatures surge back to the 70s with a dry morning giving way to some showers pushing in during the afternoon.Wednesday and Thursday are trending drier and still relatively cool with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s both days.
