Leona O’Neill's debut novel, 'Perdition Street,' a dark supernatural thriller set in Dublin, is now available. O'Neill, a veteran journalist, drew inspiration from her experiences covering conflict and loss in Northern Ireland.

A highly anticipated supernatural fiction novel by a well-known Northern Ireland journalist has just hit bookshelves in time for Halloween and will be formally launched in Belfast next week.

The book was written as she battled PTSD after witnessing the murder of fellow journalist Lyra McKee, who was murdered by dissident republicans during a Derry riot in April 2019. She was also inspired by 25 years in journalism in Northern Ireland where many, many families who lost loved ones never saw justice or closure.

Atlas must save Dublin first and then the world, all while trying to bind lost souls, keep Heaven in business, track down his killer father, pine for his married ex-lover, escape various murderous scum…and avoid Satan’s manicured talons.
