Northern Ireland face Belarus on Saturday in Hungary before welcoming Bulgaria to Windsor Park next Tuesday

Northern Ireland will be without goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell and defender Daniel Ballard for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Belarus and Bulgaria.Birmingham City shot-stopper Peacock-Farrell - who was on course to win his 50th cap - has a shoulder injury, while Sunderland defender Ballard is missing with an ankle knock.

He added: “We have a longer lead-in time to this game than for previous games so we’ve got to make the most of the time we have here.” The withdrawals of Peacock-Farrell and Ballard mean O’Neill now has a 23-strong squad to choose from. There are no plans at this stage to call up replacements for the pair.
