The weather has turned autumnal this week as temperatures take a seasonal dip across Northern Ireland.And with thoughts turning to harvest, Halloween, apple tarts and lighting that fire, here's what the weather has in store for this week according to the Met Office.Early heavy rain clearing from the east early in the morning. A bright and breezy day with sunny spells and occasional showers, some heavy but passing by quickly. Maximum 17C.Breezy on Tuesday with outbreaks of rain.
Showers are likely to ease from the west leading to a mainly dry start to the weekend. Conditions will probably become more unsettled later in the weekend and into the following week as low pressure systems lie to the west or northwest of the UK. This will bring showers or outbreaks of rain across many areas, with some heavy bursts at times, especially in the north and west. It will often be windy, with a small chance of a spell of very strong winds around the middle of the period. Temperatures are likely to remain near normal.
