Northern issue 'do not travel' warning on certain routes over bank holiday

Northern Rail have issued a warning to those travelling on Sunday, August 25

Rail users are being urged not to travel on certain Manchester train routes over the bank holiday weekend.

It added: "The Cumbrian coast line between Lancaster and Carlisle is also expected to see an extremely reduced service and we may not be able to provide a return journey.
