NT Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says the Northern Territory is suffering a crime crisis that’s never been seen before, and “people don’t feel safe” to do the very basics.
“This has been a very sorry saga for Territorians – we are suffering a crime crisis that we have never seen before,” Ms Finocchiaro told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“To have our Chief Minister in a fight with the Police Commissioner has been terribly destabilising – it’s clearly their relationship has broken down.”
