The model, born in the golden era for homologation specials – rare, high-performance cars made to meet motorsport rules – is revered for being the affordable alternative to the original turbocharged version. It still retains the performance and excitement of its more expensive counterpart. With flared wheel arches and an angry stance, this car screams 1980s from the bonnet to the boot. It packs a punch for a classic car, boasting a rear-drive setup – a feature where the engine powers the rear wheels. This proves the rally style isn't just for show, as the engine is capable of delivering 160 horsepower to the rear wheels.
