Fiery Bay Area head coach Brian Goorjian clarifies his stance on the controversial PBA Commissioner's Cup finals Game 3 that once again shone a spotlight on the league's officiating. PBAFinals
MANILA, Philippines – Bay Area head coach Brian Goorjian broke his silence in a big way after his Dragons equalized the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals against Barangay Ginebra with awithout import Andrew Nicholson on Friday, January 6, at the jam-packed Mall of Asia Arena.
“[It has] nothing to do with referees, nothing to do with the fans. I was pissed after the last game that we let that slip, and we’re playing a team that’s well-coached.” “I’ve been asked, should we have different refs come in from different countries, what did I say? I said no. I support the referees here. I’ve been in this press conference 15 times. I’ve never said anything negative about the PBA. I’ve never said anything negative about the referees.”
