Highs will reach 90 degrees, but it will feel like the upper 90s, thanks to high humidity
A Heat Advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. for all counties except Mifflin and Juniata. The combination of highs in the low 90s, plus high humidity, will make it feel like the upper 90s to near 100 early this afternoon. However, it won't be as hot or as oppressive as yesterday. We'll see morning sunshine, then partly sunny skies this afternoon. Ahead of a cold front, scattered thunderstorms are possible from early afternoon through sunset.
It will be muggy, with lows near 70. The front will move south Thursday morning, leading to clearing skies and lower humidity. It will feel better by Thursday evening, as dew points fall to the upper 50s. Highs will be cooler as well, in the mid-to-upper 80s.As high pressure moves overhead Friday, it will be much more comfortable. Highs will reach 86 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
