Barnaby Webber and Grace O’Malley-Kumar, both 19, were killed as they walked home from a night out by 32-year-old paranoid schizophrenic Valdo Calocane last June.
The letter read: ‘The callous, degrading and desensitised manner of your comments have caused more trauma than you can imagine.
