Firefighters have been deployed to a Nottingham city centre street to tackle a blaze and have warned it could cause disruption. Fire crews have been rushed to Howard Street, behind the Victoria Centre in Nottingham city centre, as of 11.10am on Saturday morning .
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "We have five fire engines and an aerial ladder platform at a fire on Howard Street in Nottingham. There have been no reports of any injuries."However, traffic may be affected while we resolve this incident." Howard Street is just off Huntingdon Street, which is a busy thoroughfare that runs through the eastside of the city.
