A flat in Nottingham has been closed down for three months after authorities received numerous reports of drug dealing and anti-social behaviour. The closure order was secured by Nottinghamshire Police and Nottingham City Council following extensive investigations and resident complaints.

A flat in Nottingham that had become a haven for drug-related crime and anti-social behaviour has been closed down by authorities. Nottingham shire Police and Nottingham City Council secured a closure order for the property located at 21 Cranmer Walk in the St Ann's district. I hope this order gives residents in the community some respite from these issues.' She further emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating, 'I’m pleased members of the community had the confidence in their neighbourhood police to provide the evidence we needed to take positive action. Nobody should have to live in fear of other residents and we simply won’t tolerate this kind of behaviour.' She concluded by reaffirming the commitment to tackling antisocial behaviour and criminality in the community, stating, 'We will continue to work in tandem to tackle the most serious antisocial behaviour and criminality in our communities and will use all the powers at our disposal.
