Defender Harry Toffolo says Nottingham Forest are keen to look up rather than down the Premier League table after getting back to winning ways.
Owner Evangelos Marinakis was watching on from the stands at the weekend, and has made no secret of his ambition for the club after splashing out considerable sums in the transfer market. Toffolo says that is matched by the players, who are eager to repay both the Greek businessman for the money he has spent on the squad and Forest fans for their unwavering support.
“We want to make sure we compete and put performances in, that’s all we can do. We want to repay the owner for bringing us in first and foremost, but also repay the fans that come here every single week.”
