Latest Nottingham Forest news as Steve Cooper's Reds claim point in 1-1 draw with Clarets at the City Ground
Nottingham Forest returned to action after the international break with a 1-1 draw at home to Burnley on Monday night.
What has been said: "He did train the first day back after the international break, and then he got a sickness illness which wiped him out for a few days, Cooper explained post-match. “He was here and he’s feeling better. He will train when we next train. It was unfortunate, really, because he’s been playing really well for us.”What we know: The Brazilian had been due to feature against Burnley in the Carabao Cup, but a late change was made as he suffered a hamstring problem.
What has been said: Cooper said Aurier had been "unavailable" at the City Ground. Prior to the game he had said: "Serge walked off at Stamford Bridge too, so some players are being managed through injuries. Hopefully we get them back as soon as possible. “It’s good to have him back in. He has trained through the international break and is back in the mix.”
