Latest Nottingham Forest news as Steve Cooper's Reds prepare to face Bees in Premier League clash
Nottingham Forest will be aiming to build on the positives from Saturday’s defeat at Manchester City when they return to the City Ground this weekend.
By all accounts he has impressed in training. He’s had to be a little bit patient, waiting for his chance. But he really took it when it came and grasped the opportunity with both hands. Dominguez has given himself a good platform to build upon, though. He has shown a lot of promise. If he keeps that up, he has the makings of being a great signing.
Maybe his fitness also came into consideration when Cooper was thinking about what team/formation to go with against City. Agree, Hudson-Odoi looked bright when he came on, though. Once he gets his fitness and sharpness up, he can be a real handful for teams to deal with. A: I would like to see Ryan Yates back in this weekend, too. He just brings something a bit different; that little bit of bite and little bit of edge in midfield.
As you mention, maybe giving Sangare a bit of a rest this weekend might help him. Even if he is among the substitutes, he is still a very good option to have. And I have no doubt he will show what he’s about eventually. He is a terrific player and has got so much quality, once he gets going he can have a big impact.
