Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has been recognised for “a winning career dedicated to football”.
The Reds said: “Congratulations to our owner, Evangelos Marinakis, on winning the Golden Boy Career Award.” The Reds memorably won promotion back to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs under Marinakis’ ownership, lifting the trophy at Wembley, and they are now in the top-four of the Premier League. They have also claimed some famous wins on their return to the top-flight, beating Liverpool this season and Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier this month. But none of these moments were celebrated by the organisers.
