NOTTINGHAM FOREST’S struggles away from home continued on Sunday afternoon as they were beaten 3-2 by West Ham United . No team have lost more matches on the road than the 18 Forest have lost since their return to England’s top flight at the start of last season.
Despite leading at one point after Taiwo Awoniyi and Anthony Elanga had cancelled out Lucas Paqueta’s opener, it was short lived, and goals from Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek allowed David Moyes’ side to pick up a much needed first league win since September. It wasn’t all plain sailing however, as boos could be heard from the home fans at half-time after their side had failed to build on the early advantage gifted to them by a Nicolas Dominguez mistake. With just two minutes on the clock, the Argentine played a sloppy pass off the back of teammate Ibrahim Sangare, allowing Paqueta to pick up the ball and guide it home from the edge of the Forest penalty area
