A teenager is in a critical condition in hospital after they were stabbed in the chest in a brutal city centre attack. The victim was stabbed in High Street, near Old Market Square , at 4am on Sunday morning .
“We are working in the area to gather evidence and would also like to speak to any witnesses who have yet to come forward. If you saw this attack or anything at all suspicion in the moments before and after we would like to hear from you.” Chief Inspector Iain Blackstock, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This assault left a young person in hospital with a stab wound to his chest.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 90 of 17 November 2024. Reports can also be made anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.The majority of stops are currently unreachable due to the lack of service between Old Market Square and the Clifton South and Toton Lane stops to the very south of the network.
