Congratulations to all the nominees
Nottingham actress Vicky McClure has been nominated in the biggest British TV awards for her role in the locally filmed TV drama Without Sin. The star is up for Leading Actress in the BAFTAs alongside the crème de la crème in the acting world.
The Wollaton-born actress played the part of Stella Tomlinson, a grieving mother who meets the man accused of murdering her daughter in the psychological thriller. It's not the first time Vicky triumphed at the BAFTAs . In 2011 she was crowned best actress for her role as Lorraine "Lol" Jenkins in This Is England '86.
The drama, which was written by Nottinghamshire-born writer James Graham, was inspired by two murders which took place near the village of Annesley Woodhouse and sparked a huge manhunt by Nottinghamshire Police. Two of the stars are also up for awards.
