Louisa Ellis' career is going from strength to strength
First MasterChef: The Professionals, now Britain's Best Young Chef - life can't get much better for Nottingham kitchen star Louisa Ellis. The 29-year-old took the crown at the British Restaurants Awards in London, which also honoured Gordon Ramsay as Best Chef.
She said: "I’m delighted and so humbled that Nottingham and stood behind me and took the time to vote for me. I started cooking from a young age, 14 to be precise. It started off with classics such as bolognese, stews, soups and baked goods. It’s always been my passion and I’m so lucky to have landed in a career that I enjoy as well as being able to put smiles on people's faces.
