One of them died at Rainbows Children Hospice, while the other one died at the Queen's Medical Centre
A Nottinghamshire coroner has opened two inquests into the death of two babies who died aged 22 days and four months. The hearings took place at Nottingham Council House on Thursday, August 8, in front of Assistant Coroner for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire , Neena Sharma.
Luca was identified by his father, who was present with his son at the QMC when doctors pronounced life extinct. Coroner Sharma told the hearing: "I certify that in accordance to my statutory duty, I have now opened an inquest touching on the death of Luca Michael John Bradwell."This hearing now stands adjourned for completion of further inquires and will be resumed for a final hearing on a date yet to be fixed.
