Anthony Luckwill, a convicted paedophile from Nottingham, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for attempting to sexually exploit a 15-year-old boy in Los Angeles. He offered the teenager money to recruit other young boys for sexually explicit photoshoots and video chats.
A notorious paedophile from Nottingham, Anthony Luckwill, who has used the alias Colin Gregory, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for attempting to exploit a teenager in California. Luckwill, who has a long history of convictions for sexual offences in various countries including Wales, Ireland, and Scotland, was caught after Nottinghamshire Police, with assistance from the FBI , investigated his online activity.
Examination of his electronic devices revealed a collection of disturbing child abuse videos, some of which he shared with other paedophiles, and evidence of his communication with the 15-year-old in Los Angeles. Luckwill offered the teenager \$1,000 to 'recruit' young boys to pose naked for him, aiming to produce sexually explicit material. Judge Michael Auty KC, sentencing Luckwill at Nottingham Crown Court, labelled him a 'manipulative and deceitful individual' who poses a 'serious ongoing danger' to teenage boys. He emphasized the gravity of Luckwill's previous convictions and expressed concern that he will likely re-offend. The 18-year sentence comprises 10 years in custody followed by an eight-year extended licence, meaning Luckwill will not be eligible for parole until halfway through his custodial term. He will also remain on the sex offender register for life and is subject to a lifetime sexual harm prevention order
