It comes after a warning in February that it needed to be busier
The tenants of an historic pub are calling it a day, saying they'd given it their all but it still wasn't enough. When The Nevile Arms closes next month it will leave the Nottinghamshire village of Kinoulton without a pub.
He said: "It would break my heart to leave here, I love it, but when you can’t swim anymore, you end up drowning, so we can only do what we can do. But we don’t want to lose it and for it to be a failure."However, his prophecy has come true and the pub, in Owthorpe Lane, will close on July 21.
"Until the 21st it’s business as usual so come and have a pint and reserve your table for a fantastic meal in our beautiful restaurant." Customers are gutted by the news. One said: "It's been such a wonderful restaurant to visit... Exceptional food and quality."
