Shoppers love all the festive displays - and the Christmas lunches

It's the most wonderful time of the year especially at Nottinghamshire's garden centres which are full of festive cheer. Whether it's a visit to buy decorations for the home, a Christmas lunch in the cafe, or simply to admire the colourful displays, there's plenty going on.

"It's the biggest display in the UK. It's very popular with everyone. There's 1,800 different lines so it's quite a big thing. It's really taken off in the UK over the last five years. It's definitely one that attracts the little ones from the age of one up to any ages, mums, dads, grandads and grandmas.

Even though Christmas 2025 is 12 months away, the buyers have been checking out everything festive, including trees, lights and decorations. Mark said:"You get a preview of the new themes, what's going to be popular in 2025. It's very exciting. Pinks are back in. Bows are the thing - and bears.", has a larger-than-life fabric-covered inflatable bear in drummer regalia.

Mark said:"We start setting up at the end of September as it takes around two months to set it all up. It's a big project. The Christmas team have done great this year. I can’t thank them enough, they’ve been amazing. All in all it’s been a great festive season for us."
