A Nottinghamshire MP has been involved in a 'scuffle' with a prominent anti-Brexit activist in Westminster. Lee Anderson, who has been the Conservative MP for Ashfield since 2019, was approached in London on January 11 by Steve Bray, who became famous following the EU referendum for shouting "stop Brexit" during outside TV broadcasts on College Green.
"The same old job, you're still a parasite, you're still a scrounger, you're still a malingerer." Mr Anderson then took the hat that Mr Bray was wearing off his head and walked back towards the building he had been stood outside of.Mr Bray followed and, attempting to grab his hat back, he implored Mr Anderson to "get off". Mr Anderson said: "It's a scuffle.
