Chris Minns says committee will determine if the Kiama MP, charged with sexual assault, is again suspended from parliament
Minns refused to answer a question about disability policy posed by Ward during the first question time of the new parliament on Wednesday, instead taking it on notice.
“It’s appropriate given the context of that inquiry … that any questions that he asked me or my ministers be taken under advice and I’ll reply formally to his inquiries,” Minns told reporters on Wednesday. “It’s up to the privileges inquiry [as to] what the recommendation will be for his continued service in the legislative assembly.”
