A Franklin County registered nurse is facing criminal charges after her involvement in the suspicious death of a patient at Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital on Ja

A Certified Nurse’s Aid that was interviewed by police shared that they were working with Miller at the time of the incident, stating that they saw Miller holding a small syringe in her hand and using her body to shield the patient from the CNA’s view. Further police investigation involved another registered nurse that worked with Miller after the patient died. The RN told police that while disposing of the wasted morphine from the deceased, the wasted amount of the substance did not match the documented amount used.
