January 10, 2023. The National Veterans Memorial and Museum on Tuesday announced its Memorial Day weekend events.
The NVMM is soliciting donations to help fill the museum lawn with flags to honor fallen U.S. military heroes. For $20, the NVMM will plant a flag on the lawn and list your service member's name, service branch and rank on nationalvmm.org in remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives. Also this weekend, a new exhibit is scheduled to open at the NVMM. "Ghost Army: The Combat Con Artists of World War II," sponsored by the E.L. Wiegand Foundation, on Friday, May 24, at 7 p.m.
